OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA We were planning a fabulous one year anniversary episode. It was going to be so awesome that we kept planning and planning and we actually did do a tiny bit of recording as well. And then, this crap happened! Mab Just Mab (and by extension Wedji TuCheeks) was banned from facebook and thus cease to exist.

So instead of celebrating, Azog and Gandersnitch must eulogize. We are not very good at eulogies. Seriously. Please let us have Wedji back.

We are amazed that more than15,000 people have now seen our post and over 5,000 have come to this web site to read more. And thank you all for the outpouring of support. Mab is pursuing official facebook channels (and has been rejected through official facebook channels 3 times now, with demands for the exact identification she has sent them three times over), but the word is that something like this can take months to reverse through normal channels, if ever at all. That is why generating a buzz is so important. And holy crap, you folks are buzzing! (If only we could find a way to make honey from all these bees.)

Please continue to share the original blog post: http://www.goblintalk.com/2015/03/mab-just-mab-aka-wedji-booted-off-facebook/

And the twitter post: Reinstate on facebook! Mab, Just Mab! Please Retweet!

And most importantly, sign the petition (a new one we were directed to): https://www.change.org/p/facebook-allow-performers-to-use-their-stage-names-on-their-facebook-accounts
Thank you!

For our one year anniversary special episode of Goblin Talk (which will happen sometime around Valentines day), we want to hear from our listeners and past guests! We want to know how Goblin Talk has changed your lives over the past year, and what you love about the show, Gandersnitch, Wedji, and Azog. (Mostly Azog…)

And to make this happen – we installed a phone for you to call!

Uhm… sorta installed. Almost installed? Attempted to install! As is the case with everything Azog touches, it is kinda screwy. It only works from the website. You click the little Google widget and then Google calls you, and then Google calls us, and then you leave us an awesome message, and then we play it on the air. All praise the great big brother Google! (They made us say that… Please send help… Or cookies.)

So call us! Please!

In this episode we talk about food, oil, farts, popcorn, parades, children’s books, Italians, and being thankful. We even let Azog chime in! It is extra long, but you have the time off anyways, so enjoy!

On this week’s program, we were supposed to interview Wotan the Faerie Smasher. It was going to be great… Only, where the heck is he? It doesn’t matter. We recorded an episode anyways!

529896_498809720157990_1990733837_n It has been a crazy month, with Gandersnitch running a kickstarter (Thank you, by the way, that was wildly succesful) and going to GenCon, and now with Wedji incognito at DragonCon, so we did not actually forget to do a podcast or two, we just did not have the time to sit down and do it. But we did finally catch up with our good friend and official-former-Ringling Bros. Rock & Roll Clown, Crickett to get the full scoop on the circus, being a clown, and where not to go to the bathroom. This is an extra long episode, 30 minutes in total, in which you get the ENTIRE interview, minus the 5 minutes in which Crickett sat wheezing and gasping with laughter at Wedji’s pie recipes. Here, however, is a safe one for Banana Cream Pie. Enjoy!

Gandersnitch the Goblin wrote a book! And it is a pretty swell book. Full of murder, and mayhem, and goblin philosophy, and queens flicking boogers, and one night stands, and evil spells, and whiskey (a little bit even spilled on the pages as he was writing, what a waste!). And you can get a copy!

Well, you can get a copy once he hits the kickstarter goal to have it printed. Until then, it resides safely in an un-smashable chest under Azog’s bed. Cause it turns out that editing and printing a book (and recording an audio cd of the book) takes a bit of capital. We tried paying with teeth… It didn’t work. And no, we don’t know what happened to the tooth fairy! Don’t ask us! We never saw her!

Anyways, check out the kickstarter. Laugh at the video. Drool over the awesome rewards. Get your book. Share with your friends. And show your love and appreciate for GOBLINS! And here is a little secret just for you – once we raise 50% of the necessary funds, there will be another video going up. The outtakes one. And it is so funny that Posie is going to pee in her pants watching it!

10329784_10152534011922803_601214107319158217_oOver the next week, faeries, goblins, trolls, imps, ambassadors, artists, musicians, craftspeople, poets, patrons, and all sorts of wonderful and mythic things will converge on a secluded spot of woodlands draped magically over the hills beside a winding creek in the hamlet of Ouaquaga, NY for the NY Faerie Festival. And it is going to be amazing, as it has been year after year.

With Wedji, and Azog, and Gandersnitch and all of our strange magical friends, plus musical guests Frenchy & the Punk, Woodland, Jessica Star, Gandalf Murphey and the Grand Slambovians, and all sorts of other incredible talent as well.

They have a new road to the campsite, to help alleviate last year’s challenges with carriages stuck in the mud, “secret” musical revelries in the woods after sunset, and of course out favorite: Sparkle Chai! The Goblin Embassy will be there, and the Troll tribe with their bridge, and Gandersnitch’s Tea Parties, and the Elfchess Tri-Realm Championships! Listen to the episode, which will give you a taste of the vision of the festival, but don’t forget to buy your tickets and come to the party! Seriously, this is one you do not want to miss.

10323613_10152383227626399_683144360_oAs we are still insanely busy dealing with life and freak shows and festivals and late night ER visits for crazy fragile humans that pass out on pain meds for no apparent reason… And because we love Posie and she seemed very sad that Gandersnitch said we were waiting a WHOLE year to post this episode – we have now uploaded the second session of our super awesome live recording thingy from Spoutwood Farms May Day Faerie Festival.

And what is so awesome about this insanely long (41 min) episode of Goblin Talk?

It has TWIG! And Posie. And a Bush. And Azog…

And they have a dance off. Which makes no sense on radio, but it was pretty funny in person. So, listen to the episode and enjoy. And next year, don’t miss out. See it LIVE… in a barn. (Yeah. They stuck us in a barn. Where we belong!)

Wedji has asked me to write all the good words, to explain this episode. Icecream, world peace, fart jokes, faeries, green, tax refunds, boogers, children’s laughter, Azog smashing things, imagination, exploitation, excommunication! Ok, those last ones are just big words, but I got carried away. Anyhow, Wedji and I (and Azog) went to Spoutwood Farms May Day Faerie Festival, and we did three live recordings. The first one was eaten by zombies. This is the second one, with our special guests Quince and Kiwi from Faerie Ring Theatre (aka Sidetracked).

Please note that this is an uber long episode with minimal editing. It is LIVE! Which makes it extra special, but it also means we don’t have the same setup and control of our standard studio environment. We have not expressed all the funny bits into a mashy pulp to pick and choose and smoosh back together into well edited and polished comedy. Nope, you get us raw, uncensored, and still damn funny. You get the table thumps, the squeals of laughter, the bits that you just had to be there to witness, and everyone talking over each other all at once. But that’s ok – cause you rock. We know you will forgive us for the occasional ear splitting pop as you pee yourself with laughter. I know I did… and the folks at Panera were not to please about it either…

So here it is – part 1 of our Live Spoutwood recordings. Part two will be coming next week, or once we find another Panera to steal wifi and electric from. Enjoy!
